Peacefully, on January 16, 2017 at 9.00pm, at Nelson. Aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter, loved mother and mother-in-law of Mike and Sharron, loved Gran of Nicholas and Elle. Messages to the Page family, C/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. The funeral service for Marina will be held in Saint James Anglican Church, (750 Harewood Road) on Monday January 23, 2017, at 11.00am. Private interment at Hanmer Springs Cemetery.

Blessings, and love, MARINA, in your new life. You always had wise and witty comments about issues! I can just see your smile and hear your chuckle! I really enjoyed your friendship, and your good humour, and interest in people. Now free and whole again.
Thoughts and prayers for Michael and his family, for comfort and strength, in this time of Marina's passing. "Only a thought away", and a bond of love that is there forever.

Marina, you have left behind a legacy of knowledge, information and inspiration. a talented and somewhat stern teacher,but as soon as you spoke about Michael, a softer side appeared. We hold many memories of our get together's with the Yugoslavs, our days in Sumner, and my time at Avonside Girls. Time for rest now. A very bright light has gone with the loss of dear Mrs Page. She was a most intelligent lady who loved to share her life stories with me, and I found our conversations so interesting every time we spoke. I will miss her very much along with her intelligence and sense of humour . Rest in Peace dear Mrs Page, it was a great priviledge to have known you. My sincere condolences to Michael and family.
