Marie GARDENER Obituary
Peacefully at Essie Summers Retirement Village, on March 2, 2023, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Dearly loved oldest daughter of Norma and Jack Crowe. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Beryl (deceased) and David (deceased) Cartwright, Colleen and John (deceased) Waine. Cherished mother and mother-in-law to Suzette and Peter (Nelson), Gillian and Ron (deceased), Paul, Dean, Deborah and Nigel (deceased). Loving Nana to Jason and Rosemary, Jasmine and Shane, Kerry, Hayden and Kat, Jerimiah and Steph, Obadiah, Keziah and Troy, Petra and Joe, Alivia, James and Alana, Thomas and Chayla, Daniel and Jessica. Great-Nana to 22 adoring great-grandchildren.

Our family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Essie Summers Retirement Village for the great care they all gave to Marie. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Vincent de Paul would be appreciated and may be made online only at www.svdpchch.co.nz. A Requiem Mass for Marie will be celebrated at St Peter's Church, 11 Fisher Ave, on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 11.00am. Private burial thereafter.
