Treasured sister and sister-in-law of John and Rachel, Paul and Jane, Christopher and Jennifer, and Rosalind (deceased). Much loved and respected Aunt to her nephews and nieces and their families. A joy to countless friends and a generous supporter to many. Our warmest thanks to her long-time friend, Pam Smith who has been an indefatigable support, and to all those who helped Marie throughout her illness. Messages can be sent to Simplicity Funerals, PO Box 7103, Nelson 7040. The Funeral Service and Celebration of Marie's life will be held at St Barnabas Anglican Church, 523 Main Road, Stoke, Nelson, on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 11.00am, followed by her interment at Marsden Cemetery, Marsden Valley Road, at 2.00pm.

Happy memories from the times back at St. Saviour's, Sydenham. The joint Parish choirs were a joy in my life. You were a very good friend to my mother and to me. Many years of phone calls, cards and letters have kept us together and the meeting in Oxford with you, Pam and Jennifer for your 80th birthday is a very happy memory. I will miss you so much but you can now rest in peace. May light perpetual rest upon you.
