Marie DOUGLAS Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the Anthony Wilding Retirement Village, Christchurch, on January 22, 2025, aged 94. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Graeme and Sue Hughes, precious Granny Marie of Nate, and Tom and Nicole, loved Great-Granny of Harper, loved sister and sister-in-law of John (deceased) and Glenda Russell, David and Pat Russell, Lynette and Don Bell, Kaye and John Bonner, and the late Noel, loved Aunty Ma, a cherished cousin and friend of many. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at the Anthony Wilding Retirement Village for their genuine care and support. Messages to 154 Yeomans Road, Homebush, RD1, Darfield 7571. A Funeral Service to celebrate Marie's life will be held in St Stephen's Anglican Church, Church St, Reefton, Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2.00pm. Marie will then be laid to rest with Jim at the Burkes Creek Cemetery.
