Passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, at her home after a short illness aged 76. Dearly loved wife of the late Cedric, loved mother of Darrin, Tina, Anna and partner Pete and Paula. Loved Nanny of Sapphire and Tyler, loved sister and sister-in-law of Carol and Garry, Robin and Margaret, Alan and Joan, Harry and Jill, Jeanette, Rosy and Kevin, Brent and Kerry and Pauline, A loved aunty and great aunty to all her nieces and nephews.

"Marie you will be loved always and remembered fondly, miss you forever, Rest In Peace".


Messages c/- the Brain family to 78 Brisbane Street, Waltham, Christchurch 8023. At Marie's request a private cremation has been held.
