"A small bird with a big voice"
On Thursday, November 9, 2017, with peace and acceptance, surrounded by family at home in Christchurch, in her 84th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ton and deeply loved mother of Rob, Marleen and Claudia. Dearest Mieke, you will be remembered with much love by many family and friends in New Zealand and the Netherlands.
And my soul spanned her wings widely
and flew across the
silent lands
as if she was flying home
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Mieke's life on Monday, November 13, 10.30am, at St. Peter's Church, 11 Fisher Avenue, Christchurch. We invite friends and family to join us at this service to farewell Mieke. Messages c/- van Roosmalen Family, 14 Bowenvale Avenue, Cashmere, Christchurch 8022.

Dear my talentfull sisters children :
when I look beside me I feel and know her presence in mystical way. Praying for her we keep virtually in contact with her in her heavenly new eternal home together with her husband, parents and family members just like Christ promised us when He left the earth to prepare places for us in Heaven,also closed to Hl.Maria His mother.We thank God for her 84 years long presence with us.Connected by way of prayers I wish you VEEL STERKTE.
