Maria Theresa (Riet):
On Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Christchurch Hospital, in her 90th year. Loved and respected wife of the late Andre Hopman. Dearly loved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother of Michael, Leisa, Andre, and Mycle (USA); Elisabeth, Jeremy, Alexander, Madelaine, and Cecilia (UK); Chris, Maria, Holly, and Mickey (NZ); Andre, Georgina, James, George, and Harrison (NZ); the late Mariette; Yvonne, Peter, Hugh,
and Raymond (Australia). Special great-grandmother of Harley, Harper, and Hugo. Very special thanks to Doctor Hammond Williamson, the wonderful staff, and friends of the Elmswood Retirement Village. A Funeral Mass for Maria will be Celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, 90 Greers Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Tuesday, May 9, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Avonhead Park Cemetery.
