Margaret WELBELOVED Obituary

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 4.45pm, aged 90. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a short-term illness at Burwood Hospital. Cherished wife of the late Arthur, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Brent, and the late Warren, cherished nana of Sarah and Kristin, Erin and Shane. Nana Welby to Ella, Pippa, and Olivia; Ryan, Harrison, and Ashton. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Olive and Colin (dec), John (dec) and Rae. A special and loved friend to Chris and many others. A special thank you to the staff of Ward B1 at Burwood Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Margaret in her final days, alongside the support they have shown to Margaret's family. A service to celebrate the life of Margaret will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Wednesday, July 23, at 1:00pm, followed by burial at Ruru Lawn Cemetery.
