Margaret Isabel (Margie):
It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of Margie on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Beloved wife of Rupert, adored mother of Ellen, Jessica, Pia, Caroline, and Lilly and awesome grandmother of Claudia, Annabelle, Alex, Jenna, Christopher, Sammy, Estelle, George, Thomas, Maddy, Luke, Patrick, Kitty, Josie and Angus, and loved by the many members of her wider family.
"She will be dearly missed and is forever in our hearts".
Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Margaret Sewell, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Service to celebrate Margie's life will be held at Mona Vale Homestead, 40 Mona Vale Avenue, on Thursday, December 9, at 2.30pm. Vaccine Passes will be required.

To the family of Margie: Rupert, Ellen, Pia, Jessica, Caroline and Lily. I am saddened to discover only in June 2025 of Margie's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. Margie was a remarkable woman, and I cherish the memories of being in Okuti Valley with so much gratitude.

Sorry to learn of Margaret's death. We were neighbours, playmates and schoolmates, as kids in Geraldine. A talented and clever lady, from a talented and clever family. Very proud of her achievements.
