Margaret QUINN Obituary

Dear Pat,
I have been living overseas for a number of years and only found out today of Margaret's passing in August.
Do you know it is over 40 years ago that I first undertook building work for you at the first store.
I have many special memories of working with Margaret & yourself from that time forward.
My condolences & sympathy to yourself and family.

How terribly sad I was to hear Margaret had passed away. I was blessed to have worked for Margaret and Pat many years ago at the iconic Quinn's. I will never forget how kind and supportive Margaret was to me. Those sparkling eyes and the ready smile as she darted around the store making sure everything was just so. I know Margaret touched and made an impact on so many peoples lives including my own. My thoughts are with Pat, Nicky, Juliet and their families through this difficult and saddest of times.

Fashion was such a strong part of your life and through it we created a professional friendship I will value for life. Thank you for simply being you. Aunty Margaret you were such a kind, beautiful and courageous woman. I have fond memories even as a child of your kindness and caring nature. QUINN, Margaret:
Mum always told me she lived a life of no regrets. Her beliefs were pure and simple with a good dollop of glamour and as much excitement as she could find. Dreams conquered, challenges overcome, a life lived to the full and exactly as she wished with sheer determination. But more than that, Mum had the biggest heart, the kindest person you could ever meet, genuinely caring for everyone she met and helping them in her own very unique and special way; a soul that touched so many lives with such incredible positivity, style and grace. Mum I will miss your words of wisdom, your ability to see beyond the words you heard, and your clever thoughtful solutions. The matriarch of our family, you will be so missed by us all, but now its time to go back to the arms of Nana Eileen and we know you both will be looking down on us making sure we “do the right thing at the right time”. How can I possibly thank you for everything you taught me. We would talk for hours and hours but it was your example that taught me the most. I always told you if I had to pick a Mum I would definitely pick you. We were lucky that through your sheer determination we had you for an extra 14 years but I still wish I had you for at least 14 more.
