On October 19, 2025, passed away to be with the Lord, peacefully at home, aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband of Patricia, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Ross, Shereena, Robin, Annaretta and Roberta, loved and dotted on by his grandchildren Isaiah, Elias, Ezra, Isabella, Iva, Ebenezer and Elora. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Wallace Davids, c/-Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. The Funeral Service for Wallace will be held at St James Anglican Church, 750 Harewood Rd, Harewood, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 2.00pm.

Sorry to hear of Wallace´s death. It was good to catch up with him 3 weeks ago! I worked with him for 2 years at Melrose and he was always willing to give advice on how he did some of the different parts that we had to make. The work was small production runs, so unlike Toolmaking it was better to get the job done quickly and make the occasional mistake, than take more time to make sure you got it right!
