Margaret O'BRIEN Obituary

It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Margaret, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, aged 91 years. Much loved wife of John for over 58 years. Mother and mother-in-law to Ray and Eileen, mother to Donald and Graeme, mother and mother-in-law to Chris and Iona. Much loved Grandma to Hayden, Shelley and Rowan, Siannah and Tesscinta. Much loved Great-Grandma to Macey, Lewis and Bella. A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held at Whitestone Funerals, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru, on Saturday, August 24 at 1.00pm.

Dear Family
I enjoyed many things through my association with Margaret. She typed up memories of the Vintage Car Club. There were white baiting picnics. When we visited for lunch she had a lovely spread. She seemed like the wheel off which John, Graeme and all of us could spin. I will always enjoy memories of her and hold her panache in high estimation.
