Margaret MURCHISON Obituary

My condolences to you all, Margaret´s family.
She and your Dad Euan were wonderful community people, in the Waikari world.
A hugely supportive part of the Church and the Red Cross, and all things in the Weka Pass.
They were very kind and supportive to my old mother, Sue Harris, after my dad passed away, and used to frequently visit her in Kaiapoi.
I have many memories, of seeing them both, in Waikari and in Kaiapoi, over many decades.
Rest in great peace, Margaret.
You were a wonderful person.

My condolences to the whole family. My parents were good friends of Margaret and Euan so lots of lovely memories. Margaret dropped in baking after the birth of my second daughter and I was told I should now address her as Margaret instead of Mrs Murchison. That will forever stay with me. Im smiling as I remember this. Love to you all.

Sad news, But I have so many Happy memories of the many years of friendship. We went through a Craighead together, and I holidayed with her in Nelson, back in the early 1950's.
Jim and I often called in to visit them at the Weka Pass on our frequent travels south.
Love to all the family, Margaret will be sadly missed.
I am sorry I can't come down from Whangarei to attend her funeral. Ros Baker

Sixty years ago as a teenager working on the adjoining property in the Weka Pass both Euan & Margaret were wonderful neighbors. Always caring as I collected mail from their front gate. Precious memories of young boys living within a beautiful caring family. Thanks for those memories. Mike (Perth Australia)
