Margaret HOBAN Obituary

Margaret passed away peacefully at Nazareth House, Christchurch, at 6.00am on Monday, September 29, 2025. Margaret was the beloved eldest daughter of the late William and Margaret Hoban. She was the treasured sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt of Sister Rosalene (RIP September 13, 2025), Philomena Sister Aroha (Missionary of Charity, Sri Lanka), Patrick and Judith Hoban,
Victoria Hoban, Katherine, Quintin and Lorna Boyd, James, Maria, Alice and William Hoban. Her family wish to acknowledge all who cared for Margaret and supported her and her family, in recent times, particularly the Mission Sisters, and the wonderful Team at Nazareth House. Margaret was laid to rest next to her sister Rose yesterday, Friday, October 3 at Avonhead Memorial Cemetery, Hawthornden Road.

Our sincere condolences in the sad loss of Sister Peter to family and all concerned.
Thank you Sister for your devotion in your role here in Napier when my children and grandchildren attended St Patrick´s School. Your caring kindness and friendship will always be remembered. Rest in Peace. Arohanui. Webber Mitchell families.
