Margaret "formerly Sr Mary Peter Chanel" Obituary

On Monday, September 29, 2025, Margaret died peacefully in Nazareth Care. A dearly loved Sister of the Sisters of our Lady of the Missions, she was a blessing to her RNDM sisters, her family and her friends. She will be remembered with gratitude and affection.

May she rest in peace.

Special thanks to the Sisters and Staff of Nazareth Care and to all those who lovingly supported her over the past eight years. Livestream of Mass is available via johnrhind.co.nz on Margaret's notice in upcoming funerals. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Nazareth Care Chapel, 220 Brougham St, Christchurch, on Friday, October 3 at 1.00pm, followed by burial at the Avonhead Park Cemetery, Hawthornden Road.

Our sincere condolences in the sad loss of Sister Peter to family and all concerned.
Thank you Sister for your devotion in your role here in Napier when my children and grandchildren attended St Patrick´s School. Your caring kindness and friendship will always be remembered. Rest in Peace. Arohanui. Webber Mitchell families.
