Our dear old Maggie has gone to be with her beloved Tony. Originally from London and until recently, Te Anau. Proud mother of David, Simon and Memory, and Kate and Jason. Extra special Nana of Kaylee and Baylee. Maggie's wishes were for a private goodbye and this has already been. A massive thank you to the staff at Clare House for all your care of our mum over the last two years. Also Diane, we could not have done these last 2 years without you. We miss Maggie on Sutherland Street. She would regularly walk past and wave, and would sometimes pop in for a coffee and a chat, entertaining us with yarns of London, the Milford Track, and her dislike of gardening. She was strong and quick witted, and made us laugh. We would love to be at the memorial service, but will be away from Te Anau on Saturday. Our thoughts are with all her family and friends.

So sad to hear of Maggie's passing and my thoughts are with the family. I had the pleasure of working with her way back in THC days, The Moose and TeAnau Club. She was such a hard working lady. RIP Maggie xxx
