Margaret ARNOLD Obituary

ARNOLD, Margaret Joan
(nee Hayman):
On 25 December 2022, Margaret died peacefully at home surrounded by loving family. Dearly loved wife of Ted for 62 years, and cherished mother of Peter, Jan, Richard, Steven and Lynne and families. Much loved grandma and great-grandma. Beloved sister of John and the late Alan Hayman. A special thanks for the compassionate care given by the Access carers. In lieu of flowers, donations to Margaret's chosen charity, Christian World Service, would be appreciated. Donations may be made online at: cws.org.nz/donate. All are welcome to a celebration of Margaret's life at Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Christchurch, on Friday 30 December at 2.00pm. This will be followed by a private cremation. Please accept my sincere condolences on the death of Margaret. Ted, you and Margaret showed great love and care to my late father and mother, John and Muriel McKenzie from Waimate when in the the late seventies Dad was a patient and Mum was able to stay with you in Dunedin. Thank you for the opportunity to view the service on livestream. Blessings to you all.

Dear Ted, Peter, Jan, Richard, Steven, Lynne and your families. Our heartfelt sympathy for you all. Jean (Mum) and I would very much have like to come in person but for her health reasons we weren't able to. It was such a privilege to be able to see and hear Margaret being farewelled via the livestream. The slide show brought back many memories for mum but also for me when I was flowergirl at your wedding. Our thoughts are with you all. Jean Patterson and Ann Shaw (nee Patterson).
