A beautiful caring and fun-loving soul. Loved wife of the late Malcolm. Very much loved and missed by her son Rob and daughter-in-law Sandra, her daughter Briony and son-in-law Andy. Special grandma to Ollie, Finlay, Gabriela, and Yiara. Dear sister of Earl and Anne, loved sister-in-law of Anna, Vernon, David, Pat, and aunt to Jules, Gwyn, Fritha, Isaac, Cheryl-Ann, Graham, David and Maria. We are so thankful to the caring and professional staff at Essie Summers who have looked after Mardi so well over the past 3 years. A celebration of Mardi's life will be held at the Sumner Surf Club, 301 Main North Road, Sumner, on Thursday, October 31, at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Christchurch City Mission would be greatly appreciated.

I grew up in Lincoln and Mardi and Malcolm were long-time friends of the family. I had been wondering lately what had become of Mardi. I remember neighbourhood New Year's Day parties! Sincere condolences to Rob and Briony and family. Marian Galloway (Meijer)
