Thinking of you all - I was very sad to hear of Malcolm´s passing and was unable to come to the service as I had my grandchildren here. I watched online with another friend and avid rock collector here in Timaru. My Dad and Malcolm had such a lot in common. Treasure all your special memories Love Sue Wilkinson

Dear Yvonne and family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
Malcolm will be greatly missed by you all and also the wider "family of rockhounds". His knowledge of Canterbury agates was second to none.
Thinking of you all tomorrow.
Kind regards

Sad to hear of Malcom's passing. He was a good friend and we shared fun times in our early teens - fishing, socials, Army events and family experiences. I am fortunate to have known such a trusted and widely respected friend as Malcom always was to me.

Sending love and healing to all the whanau at this time. This is not a loss felt by a small group or even a single community! Malcolm´s footprint in the Lapidary world is significant and stands as a legacy of his absolute passion for people and for Papatuanuku and all her precious gems. Malcolm, your endless humility, generosity of time, and hard work will never be forgotten. I am richer because I met you.
You will be missed - Thank you!
