Malcolm Harry (Mac):
On January 19, 2023, at Ashburton Hospital, with his loving family. In his 92nd year. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Audrey for nearly 70 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Roger and Raewyn, Greg and Carolyn. Dearly loved grandad of Michael and Amanda, Hannah and Richard, Jason, Daniel and Abbey, and great-grandad of Walter and Wyatt, Thomas, Noah and little Mac. A very special thanks to ward 1, Ashburton Hospital and the Urology Department, Christchurch Hospital, for their care of Mac. Messages to Malcolm Bruce's family, c/- PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A service to celebrate Mac's life will be held in Our Chapel, cnr East and Cox Sts, Ashburton, on Tuesday, January 24, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by Cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.

I went to school with Mac, probably about 1945. I was staying with the Bruce's whilst Mum was in hospital. His Father Harry worked on dad's Combine during the War. Tough but, wonderful years at Eiffelton.

We wish to offer our sincere condolences to Audrey,Roger,and Gregory and their families in the passing of Mac.I Graeme have enjoyed and appreciated a long relationship with Mac over many decades with him as a friend of much humour,and as an uncle,always great to be with as we all know.We regret the fact that we cannot be present to pay our respects on Tuesday but rest assured that our thoughts are with you all.

On January 19, 2023. Son of the late Harry and Edna (late of Eiffelton). Brother and brother-in-law of the late Betty and Rex Barrett, Margaret and the late Bill Bruce. Brother-in-law of the late Winnie and Ron Chapman, the late Sadie and Len Chambers, the late Alma and Bill Lay, the late Shona Penrose, the late Shirley and Charlie Cullimore, Pat and the late Ivan Penrose, and the late June Page. Respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
