Malcolm BANCROFT Obituary

Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026 with whanau beside him, aged 98 years, just 8 days short of his 99th birthday. Dearly loved husband of the late Enid Bancroft for 71 years. Loved and proud father and father-in-law to Grant and Sallie and Philip. A wonderful Pops to Deedee, Dave, Gracie, Jack, Aaron, Amelia, Evelyn, Maxime, Keporah, Eli and Sinead. A gentle, caring uncle to his wonderful nieces and nephews. A special mention to Christine Evans for all her help with Malcolm and Enid, he appreciated your friendship. Our wee Florence Nightingale. In accordance with Malcolm's wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held in Christchurch at a time to be advised.
