Passed away peacefully at Wairau Hospital, Blenheim NZ, in her 76th year. Loved wife of Richard Crawshaw, loved mother of Louise J Crawshaw and her partner Michael D Powers, Blenheim NZ, and Rodney J Crawshaw of Featherston NZ, formerly of Blenheim NZ. Loved grandmother of Phoenix B J Crawshaw of Auckland NZ. Loved daughter of the late Percival F H Conway (Jim) and Alice E Conway (nee Jenkins). Loved sister of Gerald F Conway of Marton NZ, and the late Judith F Smith and her husband Bernard E Smith. Loved Aunt of her many nieces and nephews. Lynda was born in Blenheim and educated at Seddon School, Whitney Street School, Bohally School, Marlborough College and Marlborough Girls College. She met her husband Richard in Blenheim, a member of the United States Air Force who worked at Project Longbank at RNZAF Base Woodbourne. They married on January 11, 1969 and travelled to numerous countries and cities throughout the world. On her return to Blenheim NZ in 1980 she worked at the Blenheim Swimming Pool and The Warehouse and went on to get her Horticulture Certificate at Nelson/Marlborough Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Wine. She was an avid Tennis Player and in her younger years enjoyed playing indoor basketball and softball and was an active member of the local swimming club. Truely sorry that we will be unable to attend the service for Lynda. I have wonderful memories of our youth, growing up in Blenheim, and all of the amazing people we knew and loved. I will be watching on line.

My condolences to Richard and children on the lose of his wife and their mother. I met Lynda through her husband Richard. Richard and I both served in the U.S. Air Force together. I visited them in March 2017. I will always remember Lynda as a kind and loving person.
