Lucille RUTLAND Obituary

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Christchurch Hospital on Saturday, April 26, 2025, aged 78 years. Beloved wife of Greg. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Sonya, Jason and Sally, and the late Darren. Much loved grandma of Dale, Cuba and Kaid. Loved Sister of Lindsay Wright, and the late Denise Gilley. Will be sadly missed by the extended family and many friends. Messages for the Rutland family to 69 Dee Street, St Albans, Christchurch 8013. In accordance with Lucille's wishes a private cremation has taken place.

I was very shocked to see that Lucille had died recently.

Lucille was a very lovely lady and I knew her as a workmate and a friend.

As a young mum I worked with Lucille at Employment Plus in 2012 and 2013. She was so kind and encouraging and gave me lovely professional clothes to wear. I enjoyed catching up with her at our EPlus catch ups since then throughout the years and I´m very sad I didn´t go to the last one . She has impacted many lives and will be sadly missed. Condolences to the family.
