Lorraine McGOWAN Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine, on January 1, 2024, surrounded by family, in her 90th year, at Summerset at Wigram. Loved wife of the late Gerald; adored and deeply loved mother of Jacqueline, Matthew, and Rowan (deceased); and mother-in-law to Fysh, Michelle, and Christine. Gorgeous Nana Polly to Amy, Nicolas and Vicky, Shaun and Zeenobiyah, Lucy and Tully, and Matilda; Great-Nana to Portia, Ava, and Knox, Cayde, Mia, Max and Leo, Saraiah and Zahayvah, Teddy and Louis. A special thank you to all of the wonderful staff and friends at Summerset at Wigram who have cared for Mum with love, compassion, respect, and kindness. The family are forever grateful. At Mum's request, a private cremation will be held, with a memorial gathering for family and friends to be held at Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, 447 Linwood Avenue, on Saturday, May 11, at 11.00am.
