Lorraine BONISCH Obituary
17.2.1956 - 8.12.2025
Beloved mother of Jamie and Andrew, adored grandmother (Bonnie) of Ruby, Jasper and Hadley, sister of Robyn, and daughter of June. Friend, mentor, and advocate for many. Lorraine passed away in the late hours on Monday at Christchurch Hospital, her fight with cancer is over, she is now at rest. The family wish to mention the wonderful care by the staff of ward B6; their compassion and care of Lorraine will never be forgotten. A celebration of Lorraine's life will take place at Harewood Crematorium, on Thursday, December 18, at 4.00pm. Lorraine's wish was that people could come together and share stories of her life. Any messages to Lorraine's family or stories that you wish to share in lieu of attending on Thursday may be sent to 58 Coleridge St, Sydenham 8023.
Lorraine loved flowers, however, would appreciate donations made to Nurse Maude in her honour https://www.nursemaude.org.nz/donate

Sincere condolences to family and friends. Lorraine was in some of my classes at Ashburton College, so many years ago and I have fond memories of a warm and friendly girl. RIP Lorraine
