Lorna UTTING Obituary

With hearts full of love we share the passing of Lorna, on Monday, January 6, 2025, peacefully at Whalan Lodge, Kurow. Cherished daughter of the late Albert and Irene, and loving sister of Anne and the late Neil and Melva. Devoted wife of the late Brian David Utting. Lorna was a beloved mother to Dawn, Carole, Kaye, and Ramon, a loved mother-in-law to Gordon, Sam, Danny, and Rosemarie, a loved Aunty, and proud grandmother to her 13 grandchildren and great-grandmother to her 22 great-grandchildren.
As a treasured friend and respected member of the Waitaki community, Lorna will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A service to honour Lorna's life will be held at St Stephen's Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, January 11 at 10.30am. Donations to Whalan Lodge would be so appreciated.

Lorna became a dear and treasured friend to Eric & I when he was minister at St Stephen's in Kurow. Lorna also
took great care of our cats whenever we were away. Such a beautiful soul now at rest. Our sympathy to the whole family.

Deepest Sympathy to the whole family, many years have passed since we have seen each other but never forgotten
Our time together in our Tekapo days and our trips to Timaru etc. and Lorna would fill up the van and off we would go.
Good memories Fay Bain late of Irishman Creek Station

My prayer partner for many years and a second "Mum-um" to our boys. Lorna was a "safe" listener and a blessing to all who knew her.
