Lorna HARRIS Obituary

Promoted to Glory, peacefully, on January 4, 2026, aged 88 years. Reunited now with her husband Stan, and son Brent. Dearly loved Mum of Adrienne Smith, and Chris Harris, Mother in law to Stephen Lapslie, and Jocelyn Smith. Proud and devoted Nana to Nick and Ashley, Victoria and Tony, Hannah-Kate, Micah and Spencer; and Great Grandchildren, Max, Rosie, Theo, Grace, and Gemma. A private family gathering will precede a public memorial service later this month at Sydenham Salvation Army.

Very sorry to have missed the memorial service for Lorna. I loved learning of the history of your parents connection to my parents in their younger years in CHCH with both CHCH City and Sydenham Salvation Army. I know my Dad Rex Arbuckle always spoke highly of your Mother´s musical abilities as a Musician and as a Songster Leader. I always enjoyed catching up with Lorna when I made it to Sydenham services. Lorna will be greatly missed. I will miss her friendly & kind manner. Love and prayers to the family.
