Sincere condolences on the passing of Lois.
Lois gave Mum the publication I think Derek had mainly compiled on their life's journey which I enjoyed reading.
It was only when I came across the mention of Barbara & Lieuwe Doubleday did I realized the connection from when you both taught our daughter Jo-anne all those years ago at HHPC in Sunday School. There is a class photo with Jo turning up her face because the sun is in her eyes.
Every positive input is so great, and you were both part of that journey, as Jo and her family are actively involved in the church.
I got to say a few words to Lieuwe when you were doing the room shift for Lois which was pre covid i think.
I often got to say hello to Lois, and her room was down the same hallway as Mum's. I know of late Lois had got a bit confused at times. I had to show her where her room was a couple of times just recently.
It was good to see in the sign out book, Lois was still going out on what seemed a regular basis with family.
No more pain with walking now; bless her.
Rest in peace a faithful servant and now at rest.
