Liz THOMAS Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce that Liz passed away peacefully, with family at her side on Thursday, June 17, 2021, aged 82 years. Loved wife of the late Peter, loved mother and mother-in-law of Nicola and Steve, and Gary and Vanessa, much loved Gran to Lewis, Sean and Zoe and companion to Eva, her much loved Sheltie. She will be missed by her siblings in the UK, Ron and Mavis, Sadie and the late Eric, Val and John and Gareth and Dianne and all her nieces and nephews who she visited whenever she was able to. Sincere thanks to the staff at Summerset on Cavendish whose support and love truly made a difference to Mum's last months. A service to celebrate Liz's life will be held at the Holy Trinity Church, 61 King Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday, June 29 at 1.00pm. Private cremation to follow. Donations may be made at the funeral in Liz's name to Hospice Southland. Messages for the family can be addressed to The Thomas Family, 112 Wairakei Road, Christchurch 8052.

Our love and thoughts are with the family at this sad time. I am so sorry that I could not be there today as planned to celebrate her life. We have fond memories of Liz and we were blessed to have her work with us over many years. Her vision and passion for her store will not be forgotten along with her warmth, kindness and wonderful sense of humour.
