So Sorry to hear about the loss of Lindsay. He was such a kind man, who I had the privilege of working with at the MBC LEOs club in the late 2010s. Thoughts to all of his family in this difficult time.

Saddened to learn of Lindsay's passing as a great school chum from Waipara days.He knew more about life than I ever did due to access to comics, which I was not allowed to read and which went up in smoke with the Moir washhouse in 1953.Also encouraged me to smoke around 1951.Gave me a roll your own, down in Fergusons gully, indicating the need to suck in the smoke. Coughing a spluttering I ventured to suggest that I could see little virtue in smoking tobacco? Oh know he said, could not get tobacco so your are smoking dried dock leaves! Have never smoked since! So a decade of fond memories, often traversing the Omihi creek from Glenmark to Crofts, sometimes falling into it, catching the odd eel and on many occasions with Linda Fincham, when the sun was always shining. Great Memories still. Rest in Peace.
