Linda LEONARD Obituary

In her 63rd year. On December 20, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family after a brief but brave fight. Loved daughter of Brian and Shirley (both deceased); cherished sister and sister-in-law of Debbie and Dave (Timaru), Kevin and Patty (Christchurch), and a loved Aunty and Great-Aunty to Daniel and Jess; Kurt and Stacey; Emma and Kosuke; Blair and Ryoko (and Angus, Casey and Lachie). A service will be held at 12.00pm on Monday, December 29, at Salisbury Park Crematorium. Linda loved life to the full, dancing, music and butterflies. Wear your brightest colours and help celebrate the joy of a life well lived. Enormous thanks to all the caring staff at her homes in Idea Services and Margaret Wilson. Special people, giving life a special meaning. In lieu of flowers, donations to Margaret Wilson would be gratefully appreciated. Messages to c/- Debbie and Dave, 19 Coonoor Road, Timaru 7910.

As a teen in Rakaia, I had the honor of teaching Linda to swim. Something she always told me she loved. I remember the big hugs whenever I saw her. Debbie & Kevin - sorry for your loss.
