Lillian ROUSE Obituary

ROUSE, Lillian:
Graham, Marlene, Trevor, Heather and their extended families would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service to celebrate Lillian's long life. Many of you travelled long distances to be with us and we really appreciated the efforts you made. Lillian was obviously held in high regard and with great affection and was a valued friend. Thanks for the many cards, emails, phone calls, plants, flowers and food which we received. These have been a great support as we remember our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother ('Nana' to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.) We would also like to thank the staff at Rosebank Hospital and Rest Home for their care of Lillian, and especially Sondra with whom she shared a strong bond and love of poetry. Lillian would be very grateful for the generous donations to the S.P.C.A. as she had a great love for animals. Special thanks to Paterson's Funeral Services and organist Graham Gunn for their help and to Bernard Egan for his wonderful support, and for leading the celebration of Lillian's life. Please accept this as a personal thank-you from us all.
