Lewis PEEK Obituary

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, Lewis took his last flight. Adored and adoring husband and soulmate of Mardi, much loved father of Ingrid (his prototype and production model all in one), and cherished brother of Jeff and the late Elphine. Heartfelt thanks to his wonderful carers and all the medical staff and friends that have been part of Lew's support system. Messages to the Peek family c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hato Hone St Johns Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made online only via their website. We will farewell Lew at 1.00pm, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, followed by a private cremation.

A fine gentleman of many skills, kind to people, lover of nature and country. Lew was a rejuvenator and never wasteful. The world benefitted by Lew's presence.

An absolute cracker of man. A great pilot and one whom I shared a number of pleasant times on the B767 flight deck. Lew's sense of humor was very refreshing.
