Lester MORRIS Obituary

3.10.1940 - 7.8.2025

Passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch after a courageous battle. Devoted partner and friend of Pat and the Allison family. Loved father and father-in-law of Darlene and Michael, Donna and Barry, Nathan and Peta and Nikki and Peter. Loved Grandad of his 10 grandchildren and Grandad Lester of his 7 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Glenis and Les (dec), and Gordon and Elizabeth (dec), and loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Thank you to his GP Dr Alvin Ling and the staff at Medical Corner Doctors. Thanks also to all the health professionals and friends that have helped care for Lester during his battle, this enabled him to stay at home as long as possible, which was his wish. Lastly thank you to Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch for their compassionate care, emotional support and for making Lester's last days so comfortable. As per Lester's wishes a private cremation has been held. We will hold get-togethers in Invercargill and Rangiora to celebrate his
