Leslie Donald (Les):
Passed away at Wanganui Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 29 October 2014, aged 80 years. Much loved husband and best friend of Zoe. Much loved and admired father and father-in-law of Stephen and Carol, Kevin and Carol, Martin, Lindsay and Shirley, Vivienne and Rodney. Adored and treasured Granddad and legend of Paul, Nicole and Will, Meegan and Ryan, Cameron and Jemma; Karl and Dominique, Chloe, Alex and Brodie; Brooke and Djon, and Kerri; Zara and Beau, Hamish and Hannah. Much loved Great-Granddad of Jack and Charlotte; and James.
Home is the sailor from the sea,
The hunter from the hill.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Les' life at The Kaikoura Race Course, Kaikoura on Tuesday, 4 November, at 3.00pm to be followed by private cremation.

Sorry to hear of your loss Zoe. You both remain the special people that started this amazing business in picton, that strives to continue to be world class at educating and sharing the joy of all the wonderful marine mammals and wildlife here in the Marlborough sounds nz. Zoe and Les the founders started it all, we are continuing to see high regard for the trips we offer and still today your praised are heard.
