Lesley SIMON Obituary
On March 12, 2022, at Bishop Selwyn Lifecare, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Duncan. Much loved mother of Kieren, Rohan, and Katrina, and mother-law-of Lis. Greatly loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie, friend, teacher and colleague of many.
Requiescat in Pace
The family wish to express their great thanks to all of the health professionals who cared for Lesley over the past year. Messages to the Simon family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. Due to Covid restrictions there will be a private family funeral, with attendance by invitation.

I had been meaning to find Mrs Simon for a catch up and to thank her for believing in me and being such a kind teacher who made such an impact. Unfortunately I discovered today I left it too late. I´ll always remember fondly the lessons I had with her and thank her for helping improve my speech and vocabulary as a young boy. I still have many of the kind notes she wrote me after lessons too

To Katrina and family,
I will always remember Lesley with great fondness from our days at Christ the King School to our annual afternoon tea catch-ups. She will be greatly missed. A lovely lady.
