Died peacefully at Nazareth Care, Christchurch on Monday, February 12, 2024. Loved son of the late Clifford and Mary Frances Whiting. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jim and May (both deceased), Trevor and Maureen (both deceased), Norman and Margaret (both deceased), George and Heather (both deceased), Maureen (deceased), Tim (deceased) and Margaret, Kevin and Noeline (both deceased), John (deceased) and Cecelia, Nancy and the late Hubert Christey, Gladys and Noel Baker, and the late Hugh McCosker, and Joe and Helen. Loved uncle, great-uncle and great-grand uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Loved and respected member of the Society of Mary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 70 Spencer Street, Addington, Christchurch, on Friday, February 16, at 11.00am thereafter interment at Waimairi Cemetery, Grahams Road. A Vigil Service will be held at the Nazareth House Chapel, 220 Broughan Street, on Thursday, February 15, at 4.00pm.
