Laszlo KOHAJDA Obituary

After a courageous battle, finally passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Christchurch Hospital, just prior to his 91st birthday. Dearly loved husband of Maria, treasured father and father-in-law of Ottilia and Gilbert, Marianna and Daniel, adored Nagypapi to Michael and Mikyla, Stefan and Clair, Serenity, Annika and Pete and Ellaura, cherished Great-Nagypapi to Finley, Eva, Chloe and Bonnie. Messages to the Kohajda Family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. The Funeral Mass for Laszlo will be held in St Peter's Catholic Church, Fisher Ave, Tomorrow (Thursday), September 11, 2025, at 11.00am. Interment to follow at a later date.

Laszlo kohajda was my friend Marianna's Dad. I have fond childhood memories spending time at their home. He was a lovely man, he and Maria always made me feel so welcome when I stayed. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Les i was sorry today to get the news thank you over the years helping me with your help RIP Les Regards from Hungarian Julkius.
