On June 19, 2016, passed away peacefully at St Allisa Lifecare, aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, and Dorothy (both deceased), a loved father and father-
in-law of Geoffrey (deceased)
and Aylene (Gisborne), Ian and Jeannette, and Ross and Gail (Nelson). Loved grandfather of Louise and Colin Simpson (Gisborne),
Philippa and Chet McDowell
(Havelock North), Keryn
and Colin Wood (Blenheim),
Emma and Roger Dowling (Tauranga), Leigh and Alan Galvin (Sydney), and Carl and Emma Harper (Auckland), and loved great-grandfather of their children. Loved stepfather of Dudley and Marion Knox, and Deidrie and the late Murray Papps (Wellington). Much loved step-grandfather of Anna, and Rebecca, and Nicola, Amanda, and Tania, and their families.
