Kingsley BURRELL Obituary

Very fond memories of growing up with you in Dunedin. You may be gone but not forgotten.

I worked with Kingsley at Christchurch Prison in the 1970s and he was best man at my wedding. We lost contact for a number of years and next we met was at my sons funeral at the Air Force Museum in 2005. Always meant to track him down and reignite our friendship. A lovely man and a beautiful family. So sad

We lost contact for a number of years and last time we met was at my sons funeral at the Air Force Museum in 2005. I had always meant to track him down and to rekindle our friendship. I was devastated to get the phone call that he had died. My heart goes out to Annette and the boys.

I enjoyed working with Kingsley at CAB. He was level headed and compassionate, with great local knowledge. I am sad to hear of his passing.

I got to know Kingsley when he was a volunteer at CAB Kapiti.He was great to work with.I had a great time over a cup of coffee one time when I was to be finding out how Kingsley was finding working at our bureau.We had a great time discussing how to fix the world. I am in shock to have heard of this passing.Please accept my condolences.Christine Bruce

I remember Kingsley as a very caring and honest man. We shared many lunches together as I was working with him organising the training programmes. At lunch time he would come across to the administration lunch room and we often discussed what was happening in the training area and if there were any problems we needed to address. I really missed him when he retired and only learned later that he had moved to Wellington. RIP Kingsley.
