Kevin
he liked cats,
the black one would sit on his tray for a pat,
when he went out in the sun it made him sneeze,
he wore a black puffer jacket to the rugby.
He hated people stopping in their cars in the middle of the road when he was about to cross,
he was a keen observer of life and the people around him,
and his birthday was Anzac Day.
When I was 5 months pregnant I went to the wrestling with him because none of the other carers wanted to go;
he lived at his Aunty's and it had a wooden ramp and a sky blue room,
he had clear blue eyes,
I started a job and ended as a friend,
Goodbye Kevin.

Kevin, I will miss your friendly smile and sense of humour that you always had,despite life's difficulties. You never complained and I always found you an inspiration.
