Kevin FRICKER Obituary
On January 24, 2023, at Nurse Maude Hospice with family by his side, aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of Sheila, much loved father of Adam, Turi, Traci, and Abbie and step-father of Kate, Anna, and Sarah, a treasured grandfather of all his grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Nurse Maude Hospice for the outstanding care given to Kevin and the family. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Kevin Fricker, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and my be made directly online at cancer.org.nz. The Funeral Service for Kevin will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Wednesday, February 1, at 2.00pm, private cremation thereafter.

Such a kind teacher. Always caring, even towards students such as me who had a lot of baggage. Other teachers of that era would undermine, criticise and humiliate but Mr Fricker was understanding and always treated students with compassion. He once gave me a kitten and I loved that little cat.
Thank you Mr Fricker, I'll always remember you.
