On September 25, 2021, peacefully at Radius Hawthorne, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Peggy, cherished father and father-in-law of Rhys, Chris and Maggie (USA), Lance and Nicky, Cheryl and Allan, loved Pop of Liam and Lily (USA). I was very saddened to hear of Kevins passing. I have known Kevin for somewhere in the vacinity of 50 years, first as a young boy when he used to come to our family home to service my mums industrial sewing machines...then some years later he became my mentor when I joined the same trade. Kevin was an extremely talented machine mechanic and was highly regarded within the trade. I am still in the trade in my own Auckland based business and often think of Kevin and our times together. He was at my 21st and my wedding, I was at his wedding to Peggy and I have to say I had not known him to be so happy to have Peggy in his life. He will be sadly missed by all. Condolenses to Peggy, his boys, and the wider family. Rest in peace my friend.
