COSTELLO, Kevin Ernest:
On Friday, August 6, 2021, at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly loved husband of the late Kathleen, loved father and father-in-law of John and Jan, Angela and the late John Eldershaw, Gillian, and the late Delwyn, and loved 'Papa' of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Requiem Mass will be Celebrated in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spencer Street, Addington, on Friday, August 13, at 12.30pm, burial at Waimairi Cemetery to follow.

We will always remember Kevin as a popular and efficient Christchurch Manager for Air New Zealand. Rest in Peace Kevin. Rose and John Bateman and Lois Short.

I was lucky enough to with, and latterly for, Kevin between 1961 and 1976 (or thereabouts) when he left Wellington to go to Christchurch.
He was marvellous to work with. So even tempered, so clever and so considered in every decision he made. He was a role model for me and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude. May he Rest In Peace.
