JP NZEM. #890252 SSGT 1st Canterbury Regt & 2 Cant NMWC. On December 20, 2014, passed away at Kaiapoi Lodge Hospice, aged 72 years. Loved husband of Frances. Loved Dad of Jeremy, and the late Samuel. Proud grandpop of Mikayla Rose. Loved son-in-law of the late Mavis and William Day

Messages to 17 Coups Terrace, Kaiapoi. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kaiapoi Lodge Hospice would be appreciated and may be made at the memorial service. A Memorial Service for Kevin will be held in the Kaiapoi Workings Men's Club, Raven Street, Kaiapoi, on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 10.30am.

Brownie was our Sergeant in Support Company 2RNZIR (1970-73). I particularly remember our Annual Camps at Balmoral near Tekapo with him. He had the happy knack of getting the best out of men and at the same time doing so with a great sense of humour. He certainly added flavour to the long stints manning the message centre during the night shifts. Always a ready smile and a chuckle - just the best type of bloke.
