My memories of Kerry are so positive and I recall his smile which was always present. His wisdom and humor kept things interesting and one always had to be fully alert as he was so quick minded and witty. A fine man, with a generous heart, and one who encouraged so many people.

We are sad to learn of Kerry's passing. We have warm, happy memories of him. His kindness, quick wit and love of the environment. It has been our pleasure to know him. It will be a tough time for you fare-welling him. Our thoughts are with you. We always think of Kerry when we sit on his seat here at Cable Bay.

Farewell to a lovely man and a wonderful friend. Lasting memories him marrying our two, Jonny and Jane, of shared holidays, tramps, G&T on the front lawn in the late evening sun at Totaranui, and seeing him ring the Wainui School bell at the end of the day, while two boys held his yacht ready for him to sail away. Lots of love to Colls, Leighty and Alexandra, Emms and Jezza and their families.
Arohanui, and sail on, friend.
