I knew Ken my whole life, he was like a godfather to me. I am so sorry to read that he died almost two years ago. I was never told. Condolences to Noeline and family.

I was so sad to learn of Ken's passing. When I first met in my ( then ) job at the City Council Service Centre in Shirley, he was like no other customer I had dealt with. However, I quickly came to realize that his apparent gruff personality was in fact a very significant driving force in his desire to help people. I particularly remember his work with the Parklands Shopping Centre complex, and what a legacy that turned out to be for the trust.
Will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

So sorry to hear about Kens passing. He was a loved man by many and helped as many people as he could. The trust he set up was a great help to all the people who stayed there including my mother in law June McIntosh. RIP Ken

So sad to have to farewell a truly great man and an old family friend (Lifelong friend of our parents Jim & Pam Mckeowen). He always had a kind word, voice of encouragement and a desire in helping others. RIP Uncle Ken, ... Love Kathryn & Julie Mckeowen ("The McKeowen Girls" as he fondly called us) and Mike & Gary.... Condolences to the family ...

I feel very fortunate to have met Kennith F on my first trip to NZ in 2007 to visit my friend, his daughter Karen, a penpal of over 30 years at the time. Kennith treated me wonderfully and took me on a tour of the entire South Island. I have the fondest memories of my time with the Weaver family. My husband and I both visited again in 2018. Kennith was a generous loving man and made us feel truly like family. Garr and I will cherish our memories of this wonderful man. Kennith, you will be missed by so many. Lots of love,
