Kenneth TURNER Obituary

TURNER, Kenneth Bernard (Ken) - On May 29, 2013, at Kaikoura Hospital with his family; in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Doreen, and a loved father, father-in-law and grandfather. Our heartfelt thanks to all concerned at Kaikoura Rest Home and Hospital, for their care of Dad over the past year. A private farewell has been held for Ken in Christchurch, after a final journey down from Kaikoura in his 'best 4x4x far' landy.

Belated condolences to all Kens family. Ken we shared some great 4WD trips and have fond memories, it was a pleasure to be acquainted with such a gentleman 4 Wheeler and a friendship that will last forever. Who else but Ken could have taught us how to camp with a pressure cooker. RIP

My condolences to all the family. I have lovely memories of the building of the house at Kaikoura, and our second night of our honeymoon there when Doreen and Ken had secured the cans under the bed the previous weekend!
