Kenneth SMITH Obituary

On April 13, 2025, passed away at Adriel Rest Home, Amberley, aged 85 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Michelle and the late Richard Genet, and Jackie, and loved Grandad and Great-Grandad to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to all the staff at Adriel for the wonderful care given to Ken. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Ken Smith, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with Ken's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

Rest in peace Ken. We grew up in Baker Street over the road from each other and had a birthday one day apart. First day pupils at North Beach kindergarten in 1943 and started school together in Nov 1944. Until a couple of years ago....he used to ring me to say happy birthday. Fond memories of a great childhood, we made our own fun, climbing trees , making huts and playing cricket along the footpaths, .......Jeanette
