It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken, on August 15, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend for 66 years of Beverley (Bev) (nee Speedy). Dearly loved dad of Wayne and Vicky McDowell, Chris and Heather McDowell (Brisbane), and Sue and Grant Davis. Loved Grandad of Scott, Shane, Luke, Daniel, Steven, and Brett, Great-Grandad of Layce, and Tayvie. Loved brother of Bev Gardner (deceased), and Gwen Barr. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Ken McDowell, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Family and Friends are invited to share fond memories and celebrate Ken's life in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, This Day (Saturday), at 2.00pm.

Will miss our chats dad, and seeing you sitting in your chair and seeing your smile when I arrive to visit you and Mum.
Rest Easy Dad. Im heartbroken and so sad. I've many tears, but, I know you're ok where you are now.
